Indianapolis Public Schools has begun the process of selecting the new principal for Arlington High School.

Last week Academic Improvement Officer (AIO) Dr. Ve-Lecia Council met with parents of rising 7th-9th graders at two designated Arlington feeder schools to discuss the transition and principal selection.

This Friday, a meet-and-greet will be held for the Principal Selection Committee that includes staff from IPS and Tindley Accelerated Schools. Interviews will begin next week.

Parents and community members are encouraged to share their thoughts on the principal selection process, academic programming and meaningful transition activities in the Arlington Re-Launch survey here.

Looking ahead, we’re excited about finding a new leader for Arlington and welcoming them to the IPS family! This will mark a significant step in our efforts to better serve the Arlington community!
