Junior Achievement of Central Indiana (JA) is a vital resource for many Indianapolis Public Schools students. Now, a generous gift will support this educational programming! The $1 million Lindsey Family Financial and Entrepreneurial Education Fund will provide annual support for JA’s programs impacting students from pre-k through high school.

JA leaders will focus on ways to use this funding to expand the program’s impact in several IPS buildings. Superintendent Dr. Lewis D. Ferebee looks forward to an increased JA presence in our schools. “IPS students will benefit from the expansion of JA’s highly impactful financial literacy, entrepreneurship and work readiness programs, which develop critical skills and confidence, and provide valuable insight into a breadth of career options and pathways,” he said.

IPS is grateful for the hard work of the JA staff and volunteers, and for the Lindsey family’s kindness in donating to expand the program’s reach in our schools!
