Kiyana Davis is the new Assistant Athletic Director for Crispus Attucks High School. Before being named the new Asst. AD, Kiyana was the Family & Community Liasion at Attucks. She has been a proud & extremely valued member of the IPS team for 18 years, & also serves as the varsity girls volleyball head coach.
Growing up in Indianapolis, Kiyana is an IPS graduate, attending Arsenal Tech High School. Her goal in this new role, is to work full time ensuring all student-athletes are on a path to success, grow athletics at Attucks, & be present for female student-athletes; increasing participation & keeping them involved in athletics.
Edward Buford, CAA, is the new Assistant Athletic Director for George Washington High School. Before being named the new Asst. AD, Edward gained valuable experience at the Sports Administration level by serving as the Athletic Director at KIPP, & the Assistant AD at Manual. He also is a licensed Indiana basketball official, running the sidelines for many IPS contests.
Growing up in West Helena, Arkansas, Edward is a proud graduate of the University of Arkansas Pine-Bluff where he received his undergraduate, & later making his way to Indiana & Ball State for his graduate education. Edwards’ goal in his new role, is to allow student-athletes to have full opportunities to display their skill set, be prepared for college, & bring the school back to its’ winning ways.
Tyran Fakes is the new Assistant Athletic Director for Shortridge High School. Before being named the new Asst. AD, Tyran was responsible for all things athletics, as the athletic director at Eastwood Middle School. He also has extensive experience in facilities & gameday operations at the collegiate level with previous stops at the University of Indianapolis, Indiana University Purdue University – Indianapolis (IUPUI), & Marshall.
Growing up in Plainfield, Indiana, Tyran is a graduate of Plainfield High School. In his new role, Tyrans’ goal is to develop the incredible base that, current Shortridge Athletic Director Craig Huljak, has put into place & take it to the next level.
Damon Turner is the new Assistant Athletic Director for Arsenal Tech High School. Before being named the new Asst. AD, Damon was a teacher in special education at Tech, & currently serves as the varsity boys basketball head coach.
Growing up in Anderson, Indiana, Damon is a graduate of Indiana Tech, where he received his Bachelor’s in Psychology. Damons’ goal in his new role, is to have all athletic programs competing at a high & consistent level, while providing all student-athletes the opportunity to learn, grow, & have fun.
Chris Chambers is in his third year at Arsenal Tech High School. Prior to Arsenal Tech, Chambers was the head football coach at Marion High School & T.C. Howe High School.
Chambers grew up & hails from Hopkinsville, Kentucky. Chambers goal in his role, is to use his passion preparing all student-athletes for their lives after high school, while having all athletic programs competing at a high level & consistent level.
