With the leading core value for IPS Athletics being Academic Achievement, we have made it a priority to emphasize our student athletes’ performance in the classroom and they are delivering academically while competing hard each day in their games and practices!

Through the 2021-22 school year and the fall 2022 season, our IPS high school student athletes have earned an average GPA over 20% higher than the general student population! These student athletes also have a higher daily attendance rate and lower suspension and behavioral discipline rates than the general student population. 

With an increased and targeted allocation of resources based on based on key internal and external data points, IPS Athletics is poised to continue fostering success for our student athletes.
