Arsenal Tech High School – Excitement filled the room this week at Arsenal Tech High School as they broke ground on a new weight room to provide for all students. Thanks to a partnership with the amazing people at Group 1001 & the Cal Ripken Sr. Foundation, a group of volunteers were inspired to bring the project to life through their efforts.
Making a impact in the community was the goal as Group 1001 brought 70 individuals & worked for two days on this project as part of their summer give back campaign.
“You want to create a space that your students can feel proud of, & when they walk in here, they’ll feel that Titan pride,” said IPS Director of Athletics Darren Thomas.
The pride was definitely felt, as coaches & student-athletes, got introduced to their new room & equipment. The excitement & motivation was apparent as the workout began & Arsenal Tech continues to Rebuild Stronger!
